Tony Lucas brings over 30 years experience to his role as General Manager at PCC. Originally from Philadelphia, Tony earned his degree in Hotel Restaurant Institutional Management and enjoyed successful executive positions with major restaurant and hotel chains. Tony spent more than a decade in Sarasota, FL where he managed an exclusive 36-hole country club as GM and Chief Operating Officer. He also operated a successful real estate business while in the Sarasota area. Tony met his wife, a New Yorker, who brought him back to the Northeast where he served as a Regional VP for Firebirds prior to joining PCC. Tony maintains an entrepreneurial spirit and has opened and operated several of his own businesses with a commitment to customer satisfaction and doing what it takes to get the job done at the highest levels of quality.
Having served for the last 12 years at Phoenixville Country Club as PGA Professional, Matt graduated from Drexel University and has been a Class A PGA Member for 15 years. Matt has taught golf for over 20 years having learned the craft under the tutelage of my father, Peter Dever, a Lifetime Member of the PGA. Matt holds a Level 1 Certification in The Plane Truth of Golf teaching philosophy, developed by Jim Hardy and generously shares his knowledge with all students. His experiences in the golf industry range from expert club fitting (PING Club Fitter Since 1998) to working as sales manager for a men’s apparel line. Matt's commitment to growing the game is evident in the 250+ of junior golfers he has influenced through my Junior Golf Camp as well as volunteering with the Pottsgrove High School Golf Team and Blessed Theresa of Calcutta’s Intramural Golf program.
With over twenty years of experience as an Executive Chef, Chef Ingram has worked in casual dining, fine dining and upscale banquet production in restaurants, hotels and private clubs. Prior to joining the PCC management staff, Chef Ingram worked at Vickers restaurant and he spent 14 prior years as the Executive Chef of Whitford Country Club running all aspects of their culinary operations. Chef Ingram also opened Downingtown Country Club and was the chef of Dilworthtown Inn. He obtained his formal culinary training from Johnson and Wales University Culinary Arts Division Providence, RI.
Beth Nance brings over 20+ years of experience in Accounting to Phoenixville Country Club. Beth grew up in Unionville, Pennsylvania, not too far from the Valley Forge area. Beth attended Goldey Beacon College and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Formerly a Dining Room Manager at the Kennett Square Country club, Beth also has extensive experience in the field of Hospitality and Customer service. Beth is excited to be a part of the team here at PCC.
